Is Love a Joke?

Maat growled turning "what ever drunky" he said walking away goig back to his seat as the teacher came in telling eveyone to take a seat witch they did leaving the only empty seat beside Matt.

Nara sighed watching his leave she punched the piano sending a horrid sound threw the room.she looked at the clock "maybe i can just go watch the seniors practise" she said going out the opposite side of the room then Devin she walked threw the school till she was at the football stadium doors. she walked out side and walked into the bleachers and taking a seat.

Morgan glared at him, "I'm never drunk, and I plan to kick the ONLY PERSON WHO IS out." She walked away.

Devin walked onto the sidewalk, thinking, This is going to be harder that I thought...

Matt shook his head watching her leave. Hey if she wantted to skip class he'd let her but if she ever came he would be all over her like a fly to sugar.

Nara pulled out note pad and started to write down music notes. She was constructing a new song to play for a rememberer day sarimony. She knew she still had 2 months for it but she also had a side project she was going to try and make a new original song for the talent show where some summer school program leaders were going to attend and one of the leaders was a very well know pianist and she was hopping to get a scholarship to go to that summer school. All her thoughts about music tho were interrupted when she herd "watch out!" and she looked up seeing a football flying in the air towards her. she closed her eyes tight and waited for it to hit her. she knew she didn't have time to move out of the way so she just waited for impact.

Morgan went to the Principal, and got permission to leave. She marched to her house, flung the door open, and there was her uncle. "Get out." Morgan snarled.
"...and why should I do that? Get me a beer." Morgan's uncle said.
"Get out." This time, Morgan didn't say anything. It was her brother.

Devin walked past Morgan's house, then stopped. He moved closer...

Nara got the ball square in the face making her fall back hitting the back of her head on the seats behind her. Her nose was bleeding and now her head was ringing. afew of the boys came over to make sure she was ok witch she wasn't she couldn't focus her vision on anything and soon she was passed out.

Matt had been called out of class to come see his sister. He sighed pulling her over the shoulder bag on then picked her up onto his back so that he was giving her a piggy back ride. He stepped out of the school and started to walk in the direction of there house witch was 40 minutes away by walking

Morgan's uncle's beer sloshd out of his mouth. "You? But I made sure..." He stopped there.
"You made sre WHAT?" Evan bellowed.
Morgan's uncle winmered, "I-I made sure that you left so I could have Morgan..."
This time, Morgan screamed, "WHAT THE HECK?!?!? WHY DID YOU DO THAT??!"

Devin winced. He heard every word of that...

Matt walked for some time thinking about what had happened at school. He smiled when he saw Devin "yo Devin whats up!!
he yelled walking closer waving at him.

Devin put a finger to his lips, then pointed to Morgan's house. The yelling was almost inaudable, but he could make out:
"Why the HECK did you do that to Morgan???"
"Why the HECK did you do that to me?"
"I jus-"
A fat man was shoved out of the house, and the Morgan walked out side, kicked the man, and walked back in.

Matt hoisted Nara higher on his back. he walked over to Devin listening "is that Morgan?" he asked watching the man kinda impressed the way she had kicked him out.

Devin nodded. "And look who else." He pointed at Evan. "That's Morgan's older brother. Apparantally, thier uncle tried to get rid of him so he could have Morgan."

Matt nodded watching "so have you ever seen that guy before? cause he looks oddly familer but i just can't place him" he said

Devin shook his head, "No, I haven't... wait... I think Morgan was looking at a picture of him on her cell phone, but it was two years ago, so I can't be sure..."

Matt nodded "so are you like stalking her now?" he asked teasing him. " i thought you wanted this one" he said pointing at Nara who was still limp on his back her nose still slightly bleeding.

"I'm not stalking Morgan! I had to walk past her houst to get to mine, remember? Or did you forget how to get to my house? I still want Nara!"

Matt laughed "im only joking dude stop taking things so seriously" he said then went up to the door to the house "well im going to meet this mysterious brother of hers" he said with a sly smile then knocked on the door

Morgan opened the door. It was Matt. Morgan was about to shut the door when Evan grabbed it. He looked at Morgan, like he was saying, let me take care of this punk, and opened the door.

Matt smiled sticking out his hand so they could shake hands. "hi my names Matt i got to school with Morgan and this is Devin my friend" he said pointing to devin " and this is my little sister Nara" he said pointing to nara. "we were walking by when we saw her kick this guy out then saw you and wanted to meet the mysterious brother shes always been waiting for" he said

Morgan glared at Matt. She felt like her eyes were on fire.
Evan said, "Yeah, well, got out of here. She tolt me what an **s you are, and the entire school is. MY SISTER ISN"T DRUNK!" Then he slammed the door in Matt's face.
Morgan turned to Evan, "Well, THAT was taking it calmly."

Devin was happy.

Matt scratched his nose "well that was rude" he said turning and walking back down the steeps. He shook his head then turned and started to walk away "i got to take Nara home so like if you're staying here peace out" he said not wanting to stay there anylonger

Devin muttered under his breath, "Not as rude as you."

When matt got home he place Nara in her bed and tucked her in "get well my sweet inisent sister" he said with a sigh his voice changing from its nagging way to a soft calm voice. He closed her door after shutting the blinds then walked into the kitchen he sat down and looked at the stove "no ones home yet as usual" he said with a sigh standing then starting to cook some food.

Morgan walked back to school. She had to. Then, she ran into Devin.
"Watch it!" She snapped. Her shyness was fading.
"No, I want to ask you something." He took a deep breath. "I like Nara. Do you know what I should say?"

Nara soon woke she clutched her head and looked around...she was home.she pulled herself out of bed and staggered a bit then regained her balance and came out of her room she walked into the kitchen and saw a plate with a note on it. it read Dear Nara, heres you lunch i hope you like it. it's your favourite. Love from your brother Matthias. Nara smiled and pulled the lid off the plate and picked up a fork the dish was curly pasta with Alfredo sauce and a sprinkle of pepper and other spices.

Matt sat in class looking out the window. He was deep in thought and wasn't paying attenuation to anything the teacher was saying

Morgan looked at Devin.
"I-I just thought, since your Nara's friend-"
Morgan walked away from Devin.

Nara finished her food with a smiled then went into the back yard. she walked over to her reading hamick and sat in it pulling out a book that was inside a small kuby that was in a tree, she opened the book andlay there in the sun reading.

Matt was pulled out of his thoughts as the teacher stood infront of him yelling his name. he looked at him "what?" he asked in a dull voice making the students around him laugh. soon after that he was sitting infront of the princables office.
