Is Love a Joke?

Morgan walked up to Nara, "Can you believe DEVIN likes you?" She said.

Devin blushed.

Nara looked up from her book "umm..no i can't and i also can't believe you are at my house" she said looking back at her book. by far this was the weirdest school day ever.

Matt was now listening to the princable lecture him and sighed. answering with yes sir and sorry sir wont happen again.

"I've come here before... but that was after school. Sorry about that. I wasallowed to leave so I could kick, literally, kick, my uncle out of the howse I live in.

Devin felt stupid. Why did he ever talk to Morgan. Why?

Nara nodded "well thats good" she said looking back up and past her to see Devin "and hes here why?" she asked glaring at him.

Matt now walking threw the halls and walked onto the foot ball field try outs for the team were about to start and he looked for Devin "where is he?" he asked walking over to the coach.

Morgan whipped around. "Devin! What are you doing here? You heard what she said! We know you don't really love her!"
Devin quickly ran away. He didn't want them to see the tears. His tears.

Nara shook her head "hes just s puppet for my brother" she said standing and walking in the house "come on in no ones home right now so it'll be quiet and peaceful" she said leaving the door open for her.

Matt was assined to throw balls for the new recreates to catch. he chucked them half heartedly and was soon aloud to go. He started to walk home but stopped seeing Devon "dude why weren't you at practice?" he asked

Morgan shook her head. "When Devin called my brother rude, then left, Devin muttered to himself that Matt's a jerk. I don't think he thiks anything of Matt."

"I was busy. Bug off."

Nara shook her head "Devin has always been my brothers right hand man for as long as i know, i think that was just a show to get your trust or something" she said

Matt grabbed his arm "dude whats with you?" he asked

"Look, I'm sick of being your puppet, OK?" Devin was shoved down onto the ground.

Morgan, "Maybe your right... what's he doing now? Do you know?"

Matt didn't get why Devin was shoved on the ground when he grabbed him not pushed him. "dude?!" he said totally confused.

Nara was confused too "who? Devin or Mathias?"she asked

"Mathias? Oh you mean Matt. I suppose I mean both. We should see whats going on...

"Listen Matt, I'm sick of your little schemes. I really do like Nara, and I-I..." Devin's voice trailed off. He couldn't think of anything to say.

Nara nodded "sorry no one knows by his real name only Matt" she said looking out the front window to see the two boys.

Matt gritted his teeth "she my f***ing sister dude! god of all the girls in the world you go for her!" he said shoving him. Matt was showing a side he had never shone his friend or anyone other then his family before. he was showing that he actually cared for Nara.

"We sould find out what thier doing..." And Morgan ran off in the direction that Devin ran in.

Nara nodded fallowing her

When they reached ten feet of there Devin and Matt were, Morgan gasped. "Look!" She pointed to Devin, who was bruised and bloody.

Nara watched in horror "MATHIAS!" she yelled running at him a pulling on him making him move away from Devin

Matt spat at Devin "stay away from her!" he yelled

Devin lay limply on the ground. Ow... blood started to drip into his eyes. He could see someone who looked sort of like Morgan... The world turned black, then white, then black.

Morgan yelled, "Anybody! Get a medic! Devin's been knocked out!"

Nara pushed Matt away as a the team meddic came out of the coachs office to see what had happened he ran over and took a look at devin then called 911. Nara couldn't believe what matt had done "why?" she asked pulling him father away. Matt stay quiet then pulled himself away from her "you stay away from the creep!" he said then turned and walked away leaving nara standing there confused. she turned and ran back over to Devin not sure what to do.

"Is Devin going to be OK?" Morgan asked.
"It's too early to tell, kid."
Morgan sighed, then walked over to Matt. "WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO?!?!?" The only other time she was this angry was... today. Ha.

Matt sneered at her "i was giving the creep a warning that if he ever layed a finger on Nara that i'd kill him" he said

Nara watched at the ambulance came and pulled him into it. This was all her fault if she had just listened to him this never would have happened.

Morgan stared at Matt in shock. "Think about that yourself. If you even go NEAR me, my brother will beat you to a pulp. He was in the army for seven years, so you WILL become a little pile a mush if you mess with me."

Matt scowled "what ever" he said turning his back to her.

Nara watched as they drove Devin off...this was all her fault if she would have just listened to him. she kept saying that in her mind as she looked over at Morgan, she was going to ignore Matt she new that it probably wouldn't matter to him but she was still going to do it. she walked over to where they were "Morgan please tell my brother that he can stay at one of his friends houses tonight and to not bother coming home cause all the doors will be locked" she said

Morgan smiled. "Matt, tonight, go stay at a friends house. You won't be able to stay in your house because all the doors will be locked. AND I will make my brother beat you up if you even come NEAR my house."

Matt looked between the two girls "this is imposable!" he said first he had to get on Morgans good side and Now Nara was acting up. why did the world hate him so much!!

Nara turned grabbing Morgans arm and pulling her along "come one lets go" she said

Morgan glared at Matt one last time, then followed Nara. "That was... strange." Morgan said.
